They are a medium to large dog weighing 45-70 lbs. and standing 24-28 inches, with a coat that requires regular grooming of the silky, thick hair. Afghans come in many colors, some with black masks, but none which are acceptable when combined with white patches.
Their independence makes they unsuitable for obedience work in general, although there can be exceptions. That natural aloofness hides a basically amiable nature that provides you with a happy and alert companion, but one who sometimes has a mind of their own. © DogDecor.com |
